One of our most popular
programs is the one on one residency program with Dr William
Cockburn.
This program is conducted in our Los Angeles County Facility and is limited to a maximum of 4
individuals at a time so that we can dedicate the entire residency experience
to your particular needs.
The program consists of information and training for entry level to
intermediate training needs. In this way, the beginner and the experienced
practitioner can benefit from learning thermography in an actual long standing Thermal
Imaging practice.
As thermal imaging has grown in acceptance and in stature, it has come to our
attention that many people selling thermal imaging systems provide their own
training, often based on the performance limitations of their systems. There is
also a great deal of mis-information about pre exam protocols for patients, the
way thermography is performed, and of course the way it is interpreted.
In the pat 30 years, there
have been numerous thermographic organizations and associations who all have
had similar but not exactly the same – Standards of Care.
Our director of operations has been licensed since 1975 and has been certified
in all aspects of medical thermography since 1985. He has written numerous
papers, many of which can be found at www.breastthermography.org. It is pour goal to see that training and certification
requirements are consistent around the world.
This "one on one" training is invaluable for those who are sincerely
interested in performing the best thermography examination possible. It is also
invaluable to those who have not yet been trained or experienced in thermal
imaging so that errors can be corrected before they become habitual.
One on One residency programs are available on a relatively limited basis and
we recommend that youo reserve a one day residency program at least 30 days in
